One of the most underrated actors in the Bollywood industry is the son of A capital B, Abishek Bachchan. He is one of the most important players in the industry. Although his acting skills have been questioned many times, he never failed to prove his talent. Characters he’s played in movies like Ravan and Guru were exceptional.

He also played the main roles in Bachchan Bowl and Bluff Master, in which he excelled. Although not all films were successful, he was part of many good films.

1. Bhoot Font (2021)

This film was released on the OTT Disney+Hotstar platform. The film and cast were announced in 2019 where the protagonists were Saif Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Fana Cheikh. Later, the creators made specific changes to the cast Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez became part of the project. It is a Hindi horror comedy film related to tantric stuff so Abhishek Bachchan was selected for the lead role at first but later it was passed on to Saif Ali Khan.

2. Humraaz (2002)

It is one of the most popular romantic movies in the Bollywood industry. Directed by the duo Abbas Mastan. The main role was Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna and the actress was Ameesha Patel.

One of the producers revealed that Abhishek Bachchan was the first priority over Akshaye Khanna. It was heard that many people complained about Akshaye Khanna’s bad behavior on the sets, but the movie turned out to be a big hit.

This movie took At Tusshar Kapoor’s acting career to new heights. It’s not a popular movie but it’s quite entertaining. ABCL (Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd.) took over the script for this movie and Abhishek was supposed to be a part of it.

Can you believe Abhishek Bachchan was first cast as Aamir Khan in Lagaan? Junior Bachchan declined the offer, as did many actors, but Lagaan became a blockbuster. At that time, Abhishek Bachchan was in charge of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan se which also did well at the box office.

5. Bhoot (2003)

This Hindi horror movie features famous actors like Ajay Devgn, Urmila Matondkar, Nana Patekar, Tanuja, Rekha, Fardeen Khan, Seema Biswas and many more. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV. RGV wanted Abhishek Bachchan in this classic thriller, but Abhishek was busy filming LOC.

Dil Chahta Hai stands as one of the cult classics of the 2000s in the Bollywood industry. Farhan Akhtar has become one of the directors in the industry. He revealed that Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Akshaye Khanna were on his mind as dream actors. But later Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan entered the cast and agreed to do the film.
