Raveena Tandon plays the lead role in this movie, Daman – A victim of domestic violence. Durga Saikia falls into an abusive marriage and is mentally and physically tortured by her husband. One fine day, she decides to run away with her children and later is found by the same person and is finally killed by him. It’s a Kalpana Lajmi masterpiece, and lead actress Raveena Tandon won the National Best Actress award.
