Superstar Akshay Kumar, who faced intense backlash on the internet for promoting a brand of pan masala a few days ago, has once again become the target of trolls. This time, netizens gathered to laugh at the latest poster of Akshay’s upcoming movie “Ram Setu.” A few days ago, Akshay announced the release date for “Ram Setu” and shared a new poster for the film which featured him, Jacqueline Fernandez and Satyadev.
Shortly after the poster was revealed, netizens pointed out the absurdity of Akshay’s character holding a torch while his co-star Jacqueline was holding an already-lit flashlight. A comment on Twitter read, “The whole environment is so well lit, this woman has a powerful flashlight, and yet here you are, holding a fire torch to see who knows what! Hilarious poster!”
Another user wrote, “Jacqueline has a battery operated torch, but Akshay Kumar uses Mashal to look around. That says a lot about the director’s eye for detail.” Another joke about the issue read, “Only in Bollywood you can see an actor carrying a flame torch and another actor carrying a battery torch in the same frame. RIP logic.”
“Ram Setu” is an intriguing project that will star Akshay in the role of an archaeologist. It is expected to release on Diwali 2022.
