Unlike real life where you face constant pressure from school, college, office or ghar ki responsibilities, films give you the opportunity to transport yourself to a world where anything is possible. However, what if the world you escape to is worse than the one you want to escape from?

It’s true! Just as there are good films, there are also very bad ones. They’re so bad that you question ke actor ki kya hi majboori hogi ke Aisa kaam karna pada Hoga?

Anyway, sadly, most Bollywood superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and even Aamir Khan have done it. Here are the films these actors will surely regret for the rest of their lives:

1. Maar Khan T-Shirts -Akshay Kumar

The year was 2010 and Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were Bollywood’s most bankable on-screen Jodi thanks to successive hits like Welcome, Namaste London, and others. So what Maar Khan T-Shirts past.

The Farah Khan-directed film was an absolute box office disaster with the script as well as the amount of overaction getting plenty of stick from critics and viewers alike. Well, Akshay Kumar, renowned for picking great scripts and delivering hit after hit, will surely consider that his biggest mistake.

2. Zero – Shahrukh Khan

There’s a reason the film is only rated 27% on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, while we may not always rely on movie review websites, the truth is that everyone expects so much from Shah Rukh Khan. And why not? He’s really the reason why people believe in Bollywood romantic films.

Well, SRK did something completely different in playing the role of a dwarf, however, whether it was the story or the general context of the movie, a lot of things didn’t work out, with many citing the movie as unassailable. Sorry, King Khan, this probably could have been a movie you could have avoided making.

3. Hindostan thugs -Aamir Khan

Aamir is known to be a perfectionist and only makes one movie where the script and everything else is to his liking. However, Hindostan thugs was a movie where he probably forgot to play by the same rules.

The movie, which is an Indian Johnny Depp rip-off Pirates of the Caribbean series, was an absolute disaster and sank as fast as any of the pirate ships shown in the movies. This is a film that Aamir will have nightmares about until the end of time.

4. Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo -Salman Khan

Salman Khan and director Sooraj Barjatya collaborated again to make this work of art. Unfortunately, unlike movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, the film was not well received at all by viewers or critics. The nearly three-hour film had so much drama that many people would have gone home without finishing the film in theaters.

Salman is an actor who has a huge fan base, and even if he can’t make people sit down and watch a movie, then the movie really must be pretty terrible. Well, we have a feeling this is a movie Salman Bhai would regret making.

5. Humshakals – Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan has made a huge mark lately, especially when talking about the OTT platform scene. The actor showed off his immense acting talent in Netflix sacred games and hasn’t quite stopped since. However, there is one movie that he probably must regret doing for sure. Humshakals!

The 2014 film starring Saif, Ram Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Tamanna and co, was so bad it received a 0% Tomato Meter on Rotten Tomatoes. Clearly, Saif learned his lesson and has been doing so well ever since.

6. love story 2050 -Pryyanka Chopra

The 2008 film was meant to be the start of the real romance between Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Harman Baweja. Well, like in real life, unfortunately, it was anything but.

The sci-fi movie might have been a bit daring considering the things that needed to be explored for Bollywood to venture into this genre, however, nothing worked in the movie. Whether it was the performances, the CGI or the reception, the film was an utter disaster and will forever remain a blow to Priyanka’s hugely successful career.

seven. Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag -Amitabh Bachchan

There’s a reason the classics should be left alone. I guess Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan found it the hard way. The film was a modern take on the super hit Sholayhowever, it was nothing close to the original.

Despite the film being released in 2007, there are still memes to this day, and so that’s why this would be the biggest mistake Amit Ji made in his career.

8 . Jodi Breakers – Madhavan

Madhavan is an actor who likes to experiment. Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, experiments don’t always work out, well, Maddy found out with Jodi Breakers.

The film was simply intolerable from start to finish and was clearly a waste of Madhavan and Bipasha Basu’s talents.

9. Bombay Velvet -Ranbir Kapoor

At some point in 2015, Bombay Velvet with its star cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Kay Kay Menon and even Karan Johar, was one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, the film failed to live up to expectations as the film plummeted at the box office and only fetched Rs 44 crore from the overall budget of Rs 120 crore.

We all know that Ranbir is an actor who, at his best, is an absolute juggernaut when it comes to talent, especially when people talk about movies like Tamasha and rock star. However, unlike these, Bombay Velvet was a movie that Ranbir must really regret making.
