Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is back with another quirky comedy film that tackles a social issue in a simple and lighthearted way. The trailer for his upcoming film “Doctor G” was released recently and features him as a doctor who struggles to adjust to the female-dominated department of a medical school’s gynecology department.
Like any other Ayushmann Khurrana film, this one also managed to intrigue audiences who are now desperately waiting to see it in theaters. During a recent media interaction, Ayushmann Khurrana expressed his gratitude to the fans for pouring so much love and appreciation on the trailer for “Doctor G.”
According to a report in ETimes, the actor said, “I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the response we’ve had for the trailer. It’s been heartwarming to receive so much love, appreciation and positive feedback from the audience. Doctor G has a theme that I hope audiences will enjoy.”
He added, “The film is full of humor and my character, Uday, has a great background. I had an amazing experience trying out this character, and I also enjoyed collaborating with Anubhuti and Junglee Pictures for the third times after Bareilly Ki Barfi and Badhaai.Ho. This experience is definitely special.
Also starring Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chaddha, “Doctor G” is set to be released on October 14.
