Actor Bobby Deol is set to deliver another amazing performance as the antagonist in Zee5’s upcoming movie “Love Hostel”. In this film starring Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra, Bobby will play a ruthless mercenary who hunts the main characters. During a promotional chat, he shared a thing or two about his role and how he approaches dark and twisted characters.
According to an article in ETimes, Bobby said: “He’s a very interesting character who has quite a twisted background. Of course I can’t reveal that, but I have to say that even a dark character has a darker story. There’s a reason the character’s actions are brutal. He was an ordinary man who something happened to one day that completely changed him. So now whatever he does, he does. in a fair way. Once the movie comes out, people will really learn.
Describing his thought process when going into negative characters, Bobby said: “What happens for an actor is that when we play a negative character or something that’s totally opposite of who we are, we we sit down and we convince ourselves that at that moment, for the character, a specific behavior is right. Then we look not at the situation of our objective but at the objective of the character. I think that convincing myself and building the he mind is the most fascinating process for me.
‘Love Hostel’ will be released on February 25 on Zee5.
