Actor Ranbir Kapoor, along with his co-stars Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor and director Karan Malhotra, will travel to three different cities to launch the trailer for their upcoming film, Shamshera.

Discussing their plans for the trailer launch, Ranbir reportedly told the media, “I’m very happy to start promoting Shamshera. It is a film that we want to introduce to a wide audience. It is a film made for a large audience. Whatever we can do to market the film, to create the buzz, we will do everything. I look forward to the audience’s reaction to this (sic). »

Sanjay shared that he had seen the film and was sure that it would connect with the whole of India. He told the media, “A film like this is a standout performer and it celebrates all that is good about our quintessential Hindi films that we all grew up with (sic).”

Vaani added: “I’m excited to start Shamshera promotions with a three-city trailer launch that will see us interact with fans and audiences alike. We hope everyone loves our trailer coming out with such greatness (sic). »

Last week, following a fan activation event, the first poster for the epic period film was leaked. The film marks Ranbir Kapoor’s return to the big screen after four years since Sanju, which became the blockbuster of the year.

The story of Shamshera takes place in the fictional town of Kaza, where a tribe of warriors are imprisoned, enslaved and tortured by a ruthless overbearing general named Shudh Singh. The film follows the story of a man, Shamshera, who becomes a slave and then becomes a leader and legend for his tribe who fights tirelessly for the freedom and dignity of his tribe.

The high-octane artist is set in the 1800s in the heart of India, with Ranbir trying out for the title character. Sanjay Dutt plays Ranbir’s nemesis in the film. Directed by Karan Malhotra, this action show produced by Aditya Chopra will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on July 22, 2022.
