Amitabh Bachchan

Sr Bachchan was involved in an accident on the film sets of the 1982 film Coolie. Big B, who was supposed to jump on the table, accidentally landed in the wrong place while filming an intense fight scene with the co- star Puneet Issar. The actor had undergone several operations. And he would even have been declared clinically dead for a few minutes before being put on a ventilator. Amitabh Bachchan hadn’t even responded to treatment and medication until his wounds finally started to heal.

Shabana Azmi

The National award-winning actress had an accident a few years ago. The accident took place in Lonavala when his car hit a truck on the Mumbai-Pune highway. Shabana Azmi was in the car heading towards Mumbai. The actress suffered minor injuries to her face, neck, chin and eyes as she sat next to the driver.

Mahima Chaudhary

The actress was at the height of her career when she suffered a near-fatal accident. During the accident, 67 pieces of glass hit his face. Due to the horrific accident, Mahima had to undergo facial surgery. While appearing on Her Story Season 1, she told Bollywood Bubble, “It was the last day of shooting in Banglore, and I was going to the school where the shooting was taking place. It was early morning, normally you have staff in the car in front of you or behind you. I was ready at 5:30 and had to be there at 7. I told my staff to leave before me, otherwise people will think I’m not ready. But, my mother asked ‘Why can’t you go if you’re ready?’ Then I sat in the car and drove off, but by then my staff had already left.

She continued, “A doodh wala (milk truck) truck was coming from the wrong side, we were doing a roundabout. So the truck came and broke my car in the roundabout. The truck came and hit me, so the glass came like bullets and shrapnel in my face all over. The pieces of glass didn’t hit me anywhere else, I didn’t break my bones. It was just my face.

Hema Malini

The veteran actress had an accident in Jaipur in 2015 when her high-speed Mercedes crashed into a Maruti Alto. There was one injured. According to witnesses present at the scene, Hema Malini was injured in the forehead and she was taken to Jaipur after the accident. Malini had tweeted after the crash that sparked national outrage.

Sonu Sood

Sood, who has been the messiah of migrant workers during the pandemic, made headlines in 2014 when his car caught fire in the middle of the streets of Mumbai. Sonu was driving the car and immediately reacted to the incident. He called the firefighters who helped him. The actor was not injured.

Sunil Grover

The Bharat actor had an accident when his Mercedes hit an Alto. Officials say Grover was in his car when his driver lost steering control and hit the oncoming four-wheeled vehicle. According to our information, three passengers traveling in the Alto were injured.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan

The actors of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania had already faced a major accident during the promotions of the film. They were on their way to the airport when a car hit theirs from behind. The intensity of the accident was such that the rear windshield of Varun-Alia’s car was completely shattered. They quickly jumped out of the car. A report from India Today said that when Alia and Varun’s car stopped at a traffic light, it was hit from behind and even shards of glass landed in the backseat. Apparently the car belonged to Deputy Commissioner of Police, JN Parmar (G Division, Ahmedabad).
