Bollywood movies rejected by Sidharth Malhotra

With Shershaah, actor Sidharth Malhotra forced fans and audiences to see his talent in a new light. The actor has totally arrived and proven that with the right script, he can wear a movie effortlessly. While he’s clearly making some good choices right now, here are four films he’s turned down:

1. Race 3

Sidharth was offered a central role in Salman Khan-starring Jacqueline and according to some reports he did not like the role offered, but later it was revealed that he had no dates to assign for the project in his calendar. The film was a commercial flop anyway.

2. Superhero Bhavesh joshi

The “desi” superhero film, which was very interesting even though it was not a commercial success, was not originally written with Harshvardhan in mind. “We spoke to Shahid, but it was very briefly…For this movie, the cast went through a lot of changes. Imran Khan was supposed to be in it, and then he went to Sidharth Malhotra. With Imran, it was like “His career wasn’t going well and we couldn’t raise the funds. I’m pretty sad about that. With Sidharth, everything fell apart. With Shahid, it was just a conversation, it was never articulated.” , director Motwane revealed in an interview.

3. The Return of Villain Ek

After playing in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain, we expected to see him in the sequel as well. While Sid was interested in being part of the film, according to a media report, he wanted to take on the role of the villain this time around. The role had already been cast by John Abraham, and the production team wanted Sid for the lead role, which was later taken over by Arjun Kapoor.

4. The Thadam Remake

When Sid announced his movie Majnu mission with Rashmika Mandanna, it was reported that he took on the project after pulling out of the remake of Thadam. The remake would have seen him in a dual role.
