Celebrating their love of books, Bollywood actors interact with children at city event | Bombay News

Last night Mumbai saw the revival of a popular bookstore chain. Not just Bollywood celebrities and actors, but guys of all ages attended the event. Book readings and interactive events took place at the bookstore.
Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Aditi Govitrikar, Maninee De, were present, among others. Soha, who is a very active mother to four-year-old Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, said her daughter loves books. She said: “My daughter’s day starts with ‘Read me a book’”. Soha and her better half Kunal Kemmu also talked about the importance of children’s books to a packed house.
They both read to a group of ecstatic children their new book “Inni and Bobo”.
The star couple said their book was “the perfect length and tone for a bedtime story”.
Mumbai’s loyal bibliophiles gathered at the newly revived bookstore and appreciated the importance of books and bookstores in the digital age.
Aakash Gupta, Managing Director and CEO of Crossword Bookstores Pvt Ltd, said, “The store revival aims to restore the store to a premier book brand. Dr Aditi Govitrikar also spoke about the bookstore at the event and said: “I have fond memories of this place as I studied right behind it at Grant Medical College and used to drop by here often for a read. calm.”
Actress Maninee De added, “The design of the new store is exceptional. It’s so dynamic and welcoming.”

The bookstore is known for pioneering the format of readings, where fans could meet their favorite authors. The warm and welcoming children’s section is of course where the minds of the future are formed.
