For Dharmendra fans who were worried about the superstar after rumors of him being hospitalized started doing the rounds. However, in true “Dharamji” style, the veteran star took to social media to quash the rumors and even spread the message of love and good health for his fans. While many have expressed concern about his health, the veteran actor has come out publicly to set the record straight, while asking fans to stay away and not believe the rumours.
Dharmendra Shuts Down Hospitalization Rumors In True ‘Dharamji’ Style
Sharing a video of himself sitting on a sofa, Dharmendra interacted with his fans via this video which he captioned, “Friends, With Love to you all”. The video began with Dharmendra advising fans and subscribers to ‘Be positive, think positive, life will be positive’.” He added, “Main chup hoon main beemar nahi. Kuch na kuch baat chalti rehti hai, hawa (afwa) udati rehti hai. Woh tha na mera gaana ‘bura mat sunno, bura mat dekho, bura mat kaho.’ (trans. I’m calm, not sick. Rumors keep spreading but you still remember one of my songs) The song in question is from the movie Dharmendra starrer 1969 Aaya Sawan Jhoom Kewhich was originally sung by legendary singer Mohammed Rafi.
He then asked his fans to support each other, saying, “Take care of yourself, love each other, be kind to each other, life will be good.”
A few days ago, rumors were circulating that veteran actor Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and is in critical condition. However, the reports were quickly quashed not only by Dharmendra, but also by his second son, Bobby Deol, who had confirmed that his father was fine and home.
