According to Deadline, the suicide squad The star will be front and center in the feature film project in the lead role of Shepard, or “Shep,” a wrecking ball cop who teams up with an Indian policeman to take down a diamond smuggling ring in India. Peacemaker EP producers Peter Safran and producer John Rickard of The Safran Company are producing the project for Amazon while Cena serves as executive producer.
Professionally, John Cena is an American professional wrestler, actor, and former rapper. The 16-time WWE Champion’s performance as a peacemaker in Gunn’s 2021 film, The Suicide Squad, received critical and fan acclaim and later starred in his own spin-off series named after the HBO Max character. He’s also set to star in another Warner Bros. movie, as he’s set to star in an upcoming Loony Toons live-action hybrid movie. Coyote vs. Acme. Cena’s other film credits include F9, Bumblebeethe daddy’s house deductible and Rail accident.
