Indian TV’s most successful comedian Kapil Sharma is set to make another big screen appearance in Nandita Das’ upcoming project. Buzz suggests he’ll be playing a food delivery boy in this film. Kapil announced the project through a recent Instagram post and apparently he is very excited about it as well. Although his past attempts to be a Bollywood star were not successful, fans hope Kapil will succeed this time around.
Speaking about the film, the comedian said, “I’m very excited about this project, not because I’m making a film, but because I’m making Nandita Das’ film, which I’ve seen both as actor and director. She has a very distinct and profound way of seeing things and a keen eye for detail.”
He added, “So my job as an actor is just to do what she tells me to do. Her work is very different from mine, and I’m happy that the public can see a new side of me. An artist still thirsty The people behind the project, Nandita Das and Sameer Nair, are both extremely passionate and good at what they do, so I’m really excited to make this movie.
Apart from this, a biopic about Kapil’s life is also in progress with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba as the director.
