Last year, actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got married in an intimate ceremony at a beautiful resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Until the very last moment, Vicky and Katrina’s marriage was a top secret and during a recent media interaction, the actress revealed why they decided to keep it that way.
Katrina told Zoom that she and Vicky were more concerned about pandemic restrictions than privacy issues. She said: “I think more than trying to keep this private, we’ve been limited by, unfortunately, Covid. You know my family was personally affected by Covid and it was something you had to take seriously.
The actress added, “I think this year is going a lot better, but that’s something we really wanted to be careful about, but the wedding was beautiful. I think we’re both very happy.”
During her recent appearance on “Koffee With Karan,” Vicky Kaushal also opened up about her married life with Katrina. He said: “It’s great. I really feel settled. It’s a very beautiful feeling to have this companion, to find this life partner. He is a wonderful soul and one of the wisest and most compassionate people I know. I’m really lucky to find that in her. She really motivates me. She is like a mirror to me. It states concrete facts that I need to know. I feel really lucky.
