Movies this week: Judgmentall Hai Kya, Arjun Patiala, Penalty

Last week we saw movies like The Lion King, Family of Thakurganj, and Jhootha Kahin Ka hit screens. All three films were from different genres and provided entertainment for all ages. Also this week we have three polarized films coming out, a dark comedy – Judgmentall Hai Kya, a romantic comedy – Arjun Patiala and a sports drama – Penalty. So, without further ado, here’s a rundown of all the entertainment slated to hit the big screen on Friday. Judgment all Hai Kya

Synopsis: Judgmentall Hai Kya follows the story of two eccentric individuals who engage in a game of cat and mouse that oscillates between reality and illusion. The film was previously titled Mentall Hai Kya, but given the mental health sensitivity in India, the directors met with the CBFC and decided to rename the film.

Arjun Patiala

Actors: Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma, Ronit Roy, Seema Pahwa, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Sunny Leone (special appearance)

Director: Rohit Jugraj

Synopsis: Arjun Patiala is a character-driven romantic comedy, starring Kriti and the characters of Diljit. Kriti plays the role of a journalist and Diljit plays the role of a cop, while Varun plays his assistant in the film. Diljit and Co are here to take you on a hilarious ride with Arjun Patiala.

Sadness

Actors: Kay Kay Menon, Shashank Arora, Manjot Singh

Director: Shubham Singh

Synopsis: Penalty tells the story of a young man from Manipur who aspires to become a footballer and represent India at the world level. The film traces his journey of fighting against social pressure to achieve his dreams.
