Chhalang
This film by Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha was directed by Hansal Mehta. The plot of the film revolves around a lazy physiotherapy professor played by Rajkummar who then took on the challenge of proving his potential and abilities. The film’s title was based on the name of the game itself.
Ludo
Anurag Basu’s film Ludo is an anthology noir detective film. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Pearle Maaney, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Shalini Vatsa and Inayat Varma. The film contains four different stories and how they fit together is amazingly shown. The title of the film is based on one of the most popular board games today.
hide and seek
Hide & Seek had a huge star cast including Purab Kohli, Arjan Bajwa, Mrinalini Sharma and Ayaz Khan. The plot of the film revolves around a group of friends locked in a mall by someone dressed as Santa Claus. The film was directed by Shawn Arranha and written by Apoorva Lakhia. The title of the film was inspired by the game Hide & Seek, which is popularly played by children around the world.
Luka Chupi
This romantic comedy film by Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon was immensely loved by the audience. It had an amazing plot, comedic timing and great Pankaj Tripathi one-liners. The film not only made its mark in the hearts of the public but also at the box office. Indeed the title of the film is based on the famous game Luka Chuppi (Hide & Seek).
Shatranj
Shatranj was released in 1993 with amazing talents like Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, Juhi Chawla, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor and many more. Even with the huge all-star cast, the film failed to impress audiences at the box office, but made it onto our list because of the game of chess.
