With the rise in Covid-19 cases across the country, new restrictions are being imposed in several states. It also affects the release date of movies and Bollywood biggies are postponed. It all started with Shahid Kapoor’s “Jersey” which was canceled at the last minute while the multilingual “RRR” was also postponed. Here is a rundown of Bollywood movies that have been postponed lately.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the love saga of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. But ‘Radhe Shyam’ will not hold its date with the public on January 14. Announcing the postponement, an official statement read, “We’ve done our best over the past few days, but given the increasing instances of the Omicron variant, it looks like we’ll have to wait for our labor of love to hit the big screens. Radhe Shyam is a story of love against fate and we are sure that your love will help us through these difficult times together.

Jr NTR and Ram Charan with ‘RRR’
Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’, starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn was set to hit the screens on January 7th. after the film’s theatrical release. “Despite our strenuous efforts, some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing cinemas, we have no choice but to ask you to keep up your enthusiasm. However, just days before the film was released, the makers made the decision to postpone the sports drama. “Given the current circumstances and the new covid guidelines, we have decided to postpone the theatrical release of our film Jersey. Team Shirt!!” read their statement. Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, this artist is a remake of a Telugu drama of the same name.
