Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni is currently busy praising her performance in “Brahmastra.” It was his first appearance in a Hindi film since ‘LOC Kargil’ in 2003 and in this film, Nagarjuna portrays Anish, bearer of the Nandi Astra. In a recent chat with The Indian Express, the actor expressed his gratitude to the audience and said he gets so much admiration just because of the amazing quality of the film.
Nagarjuna said, “I think it’s just not me. I think they gave that kind of response to everyone. They responded that way to the movie itself. ‘it makes you whistle and boo and it feels good. A lot of people have sent me home videos. My fans here have shared how there is a lot of commotion and people having fun watching the movie. It was good because we see this in the south all the time. I’m glad it happened in Brahmastra. We really worked hard for it.
Speaking about the limited screen time his character got in ‘Brahmastra’, the actor said, “I didn’t shoot a lot. I shot in 2018, the first time I met Ayan (Mukerji), then Covid happened in between, then the rest happened. I shot for maybe a fortnight at most for the whole thing. What you see of me in the movie is exactly what Ayan told me. It is exactly that, no more, no less.”
