Bollywood celebrities have proven time and time again that their talents know no bounds. Over the past two years, we’ve seen B-town actors improve their skills by starring in international films. From celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone to Irrfan Khan, here is a list of Bollywood actors who have upped their game and made it big in the Hollywood industry.

1. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is currently at the height of her career. She made her Hollywood debut in 2015 with the TV show Quantico and she was well received in the United States and India. She then starred in Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Since then, there has been no looking back for PeeCee. Recently, she also starred in the American movie The Matrix Resurrections.
2. Ali Fazal
Ali Fazal’s journey to Bollywood is filled with success. He made his Hollywood film debut with a special appearance in the action movie Furious 7, the seventh installment in The Fast and the Furious film series. He also played the lead role in Victoria and Abdul. Next, the actor will soon be seen in Death On The Nile.
3. Deepika Padukone
Deepika made her big Hollywood debut in 2017 with Vin Diesel in XXX: Return of Xander Cage. She played the badass character Serena Unger and it earned her an international fan base.
4. Irfan Khan
The late actor found international success after starring as a police inspector in the critically acclaimed film Slumdog Millionaire (2008). Later, he had supporting roles in Hollywood films The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), Life of Pi (2012), Jurassic World (2015) and Inferno (2016). Her outstanding performances were also appreciated by Hollywood celebrities.
5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai ruled Hollywood long before Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone ventured out West. In 2007, Rai appeared in her first Hollywood production, the mundane The Last Legion. She has quite a few Hollywood projects up her sleeve, including The Pink Panther 2, Bride and Prejudice, The Last Legion, and The Mistress of Spices.
6. Anil Kapoor
Anil’s first international film role was in Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, for which he shared the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. He was also seen in the 2011 film, Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the Hollywood television series crime and thriller 24.
7. Anupam Kher
Anupam Kher has worked in more than 500 films in several languages and in numerous plays. Apart from working in Hindi films, he has also appeared in many acclaimed international films such as Golden Globe nominated Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Ang Lee’s Lust, Caution (2007) and David O’s Oscar-winning .Russell.
