Unlike other traditional Bollywood stars, who usually stick to their popular image and only act in generic masala movies, actor Ranveer Singh is always looking for something unique and exciting to do. Recently, he starred alongside Bear Grylls in an interactive Netflix special featuring the duo embarking on an adventure in the Siberian wilderness.
In a recent media interaction, Ranveer opened up about what tempted him to do such a project. The actor told IANS: “My first thought was how cool it would be to go into a forest, something I’ve never done before. I’m so grateful it’s with Bear Grylls who is the king of the jungle. He’s the ultimate master of the survival game. There’s so much to learn from him. It wouldn’t have been the experience, and the show would have been nothing without Bear.”
Speaking of Bear Grylls, Ranveer said: “Bear is someone I have made a solid friend of. He is a virtuous man, a down to earth person and a warm person. I consider him a brother and I share a very warm bond with him. He inspires me and the kind of man he is, the solid family man that he is, I really have a lot of affection for him.
Speaking of movies, Ranveer is currently working on Karan Johar’s “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” in which he will be seen sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt.
