Ryan Reynolds fans, rejoice as we finally have an update on the superhero franchise movie, Deadpool. The third episode of Deadpool is in the works, the lead actor shared in his recent interview with “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” Ryan opened up by saying that Deadpool 3 is underway under Marvel Studios. While the news had already been confirmed during his time at the Mouse House Productions office. However, the actor did not divulge many details about the project. It seems Marvel’s takeover of the project didn’t go over well with one of the film’s producers. We’re talking about Emma Watts who was also president of 20th Century Fox before Disney took over.
A source close to Variety revealed that Emma Watts has chosen to step down as producer of the Deadpool franchise. While Watts stepped down as producer of the Deadpool franchise, she would still be on production for Shawn Levy’s summer action-comedy film, Free Guy. The film will be distributed by Disney. She will also produce the sequels to James Cameron’s Avatar. Not only that, but also Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story and Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel.
