Recently, there was news that Abhishek Bachchan was taking off to attend the 22nd IIFA. The award ceremony will take place this year on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. According to recent reports, Salman Khan will attend the awards ceremony and has already flown to the United Arab Emirates earlier in the evening. Not only him, actors like Nora Fatehi, Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday have also left town for their IIFA 2022 preparations.
Salman Khan leaves for Abu Dhabi to host IIFA 2022
We previously reported that Salman Khan would host IIFA 2022 along with host comedian-actor Maniesh Paul as well as popular actor Riteish Deshmukh. While it’s a fun affair to watch, the awards feature is also expected to feature some very exciting performances from Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan, and Nora Fatehi, among others. In fact, the award ceremony will mark debutant Ananya Panday’s stage debut. Just a day ago we announced that Abhishek Bachchan would be flying with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to attend the 22nd IIFA Awards. It seems that the Bachchan Junior will also present a performance on stage.
Besides hosts and performers, the guest list for the 22nd IIFA will include Mithun Chakraborty, Boney Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Lara Dutta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nargis Fakhri, Bobby Deol, Urvashi Rautela, Arjun Rampal and Sanya Malhotra , among others. IIFA 2022 was scheduled to be held in May 2022 but was postponed due to the sudden death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The main event will now take place on June 4.
