For the first time in his career, actor Ranbir Kapoor will appear in an action and commercial hero avatar. In his soon to be released film “Shamshera”, the actor will play a bandit in colonial India. Ranbir co-star Sanjay Dutt, who plays the antagonist in this film, recently said he was proud of the actor for taking characters out of his comfort zone.
Sanjay told The Indian Express, “I’m so happy that Ranbir is doing this movie, this role, and for that he hasn’t given up his other type of work. When I was an action star, I also did a Sajan and Jodi #1. So he didn’t get left behind and transformed; he can still play his kind of roles. I say this not just because of my love for Ranbir but because I see him as an actor who can do anything – he can carry Shamshera, he can do comedy, he can be a lover boy, he can be a schoolboy. ”
Sanju concluded by saying, “Ranbir is a very clean soul, he is an honest and very dedicated child, he respects everyone with such authenticity. He comes from a legendary family, his values and emotions are at the top. , and you know those things mean a lot in life. Directed by Karan Malhotra, ‘Shamshera’ is set to be released on July 22.
