Sanya Malhotra has completed filming Hindi remake of Malayalam cult film Great Indian cuisine, according to an official update from the makers. Produced by actor-turned-producer Harman Baweja, the film is directed by Arati Kadav of Cargo celebrity. bollywood hungama was the first to announce the news of this film in February of this year.

When the makers officially announced the film earlier this year, Sanya shared her excitement about bagging the project, saying, “As an actor, I couldn’t have asked for a better character than this one. that I would try in Great Indian cuisine. I’m beyond excited to start working on my role because it has so many layers and nuances. I look forward to working with Harman and Arati.
The latest update also states that after completing the filming of the Hindi version of Great Indian cuisineSanya flew to Kolkata to complete filming for Sam Bahadur.
The original Malayalam film Great Indian cuisine, released last year, was directed by Jeo Baby and starred Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles. The film was about the exploitation of a married woman in the name of tradition. Sanya will try out the character that Nimisha tried out in the original.
