Last month, on May 25, filmmaker Karan Johar threw a lavish birthday party to celebrate his 50th birthday.e birthday. With a theme of “Black & Bling”, the evening turned out to be a shimmering affair with the who’s who of the industry in attendance. In fact, the party held inside Yash Raj studios in Andheri saw Bollywood celebrities from younger generation from Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor to Vicky Kaushal and her best friend Malaika Arora to industry veterans like Tabu , Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre, Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, Juhi Chawla and a host of others in attendance.

If that wasn’t enough, the four Khans of Industry Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan as well as Kareena Kapoor Khan also made appearances. Now, just a week after the lavish glitzy party, we hear something untoward has happened to many of the attendees. Although the figures are inconclusive, it emerged that at least 50-55 of Karan Johar’s guests were infected with the Covid virus after attending his birthday party on May 25.
Although the list of those who have contracted the virus is unknown, it is learned that it includes several top Bollywood actors. An informed source said: “Several close friends of Karan from the Bollywood film industry are infected with Covid after the party, although they did not disclose that they had tested positive. In fact, Kartik Aaryan who was not at Karan Johar’s party tested positive for Covid, he caught the virus from one of his heroines who was there at the party and with whom Kartik was promoting his film .
