The 37-year-old actor caused a stir online after his nude photo shoot for the cover of Paper magazine went viral online. While the photos didn’t sit well with most people, the Ravine Boy the actor received immense support from his colleagues in the industry.

Sonu Sood opens up about Ranveer’s nude photo shoot
In a recent interaction with pink villa, Sonu Sood has spoken out about Ranveer Singh’s nude photo shoot. The actor said it was an “individual choice.” However, he also pointed out that given the society we live in, such reactions are inevitable. Sonu said:
“Yes, I think it’s an individual’s choice to do a photoshoot as they wish. Yes, we live in a world where if you do something, there’s going to be a lot of people pointing fingers at you. , but I think when you’re doing that photoshoot or something, then somewhere you’re preparing for those kinds of reactions to happen. So if somebody’s ready, why not?”
Alia Bhatt reacts to Ranveer Singh’s nude photo shoot controversy
Alia Bhatt who shared screen space with Ranveer Singh in Ravine Boy earlier expressed his reaction to photos from his former co-star’s photo shoot. At the trailer launch event for his first production venture darlingsBhatt said, “I don’t like anything negative said about my favorite co-star Ranveer Singh. Toh main yeh question ko bardasht bhi nahi kar sakti (So I can’t tolerate this question). I love him. He’s our favorite and he’s given us so much in the movies. We should only give him love.”
Ranveer Singh on the professional front
On the labor front, Ranveer will next be seen alongside Alia Bhatt in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles. It will be released in 2023. It also has Rohit Shetty’s comedy-drama film Circuswhich is due out later this year.
