Say the actress recently opened up about how actresses are now swimming against the patriarchy and not giving in for roles in male-dominated movies.
In an interview with Bollywood Life, she said, “I think, without really making a statement about it, a lot of actresses do that. Now you can see that actresses of a certain stature and caliber refuse to act. to be a mere ornament in a man movie unless they have something substantial to do. As an actor, it’s only fair that you know that the number of scenes doesn’t matter , it’s the impact of the scenes that counts. If you see lately, actresses known for their credibility have stopped acting in films where there are only ornaments. You will not see them in this genre anymore movies. So it’s not really said in that many words, but, yeah, I believe actresses are taking that call now. Right now, you’re moving towards equality, that’s yet far, if you give up now, things will not become equal even for future generations.
