Vijay Deverakonda takes a tough stance against boycott culture – Bollywood News

Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda, who is set to make his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Liger’, has recently taken a bold and courageous stand against trolls who want to boycott every movie involving someone who shares ideological differences with them. The problem these trolls have with ‘Liger’ is that it’s produced by Karan Johar and Vijay recently gave his backing to Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.

Standing up to these faceless trolls who find absurd ways to be offended and spread hate, Vijay said, “I don’t know exactly what their (online trolls) problem is and what they want. We are right on our side. I was born in Hyderabad. Charmme was born in Punjab. Puri sir was born in Narsipatnam. Shouldn’t we be working? We worked hard for three years to make this cinema. Shouldn’t we release our films? Should we sit in houses? You have all seen the love that the public has shown us. I make films for these audiences. I need these audiences. There’s no reason to be afraid until we have these people on our side.”

The actor added, “When we’re right and doing our dharma, there’s no need to listen to anyone and let anything happen, we have to fight. I don’t have to scared and I know that in all honesty we did it with our hearts. We are all from this country and we know everything we do for our people and our country. We are not from this group that s ‘sits in front of computers and tweets. We’re the first responders if something happens.”
