Tollywood actor Prabhas has been making headlines ever since his Baahubali hit theaters. Even after 7 years of “Baahubali: The Beginning” being released, fans are celebrating this momentous journey. The sequel, “Baahubali: The Conclusion,” also caught the attention of moviegoers around the world.
Although the Baahubali series made Prabhas a nationally and internationally recognized actor, he was among the most famous actors in the southern industry with a huge fandom. Prab made his debut in 2002 with Eeshwar, and over his 20-year run, he has directed 20 films, 7 of which failed at the box office.
However, Darling Prabhas won the hearts of the audience for his down-to-earth nature and straightforwardness. His pure devotion to work earned him laurels which are evident from the gigantic success of his magnum opuses (Baahubali series).
Asked about the importance of humility and simplicity, the ‘Mr Perfect’ had a moving response.
“I don’t know, maybe you should ask Chiranjeevi Garu, Rajinikanth Garu and all the others who have achieved so much, are still down to earth,” Prabhas said.
Such simplicity and a captivating nature with a humble attitude sets him apart from several high-profile actors.
As Prabhas said, Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth are few among the actors who have a huge fandom and are among the highest paid, but are humble, which is one of the reasons why their movies always drive their fans crazy.
Prabhas – A busy bee…
Work-wise, Prabhas has several sequel films slated for release back-to-back. Although Saaho and Radhe Shyam did not get on well with some of the audience, moviegoers have placed high hopes in his upcoming films. Baahubali fame has joined with KGF fame Prashanth Neel for Salaar which also stars Shruti Hasaan. Fans expect the movie to give him back the fame he lost with his recent releases.
On the other hand, everyone is hopeful for Adipurush, which is a film adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Prabhas will be seen as Raghav while Kriti Sanon will portray the character of Janaki. Fans are even looking forward to this movie since Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Lankesh Ravana, the Demon King. The story will show Prabhas and everyone else as normal humans without any divine powers.
Additionally, Project K and Spirit are two more of his films that fans have yet to receive updates on. While filming for Project K has already begun, Spirit has yet to progress.
Project K is a sci-fi action thriller film written and directed by Nag Ashwin which also stars Millennium Star Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has confirmed that he will move on to direct Spirit after wrapping filming of “Animal” starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. Currently, Sandeep is busy filming “Animal” which is billed as a crime drama promising larger-than-life visuals.
