Bollywood actor Salman Khan was found guilty in a magistrate’s court of killing a man with his SUV after a drinking party September 28, 2002. Salman’s Toyota Land Cruiser crashed into five men. These five people were sleeping in front of a bakery in Bandra. This judgment was eventually overturned by the Bombay High Court which acquitted him of all charges.
Sooraj Pancholi
A case of complicity in suicide has been filed against Sooraj Pancholi following the death of actress Jiah Khan. Jiah died by suicide in 2013. Sooraj faced allegations from Jiah’s mother, Rabia. He also had to spend time in prison.
Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay had to serve a prison sentence after the Supreme Court sentenced him to five years in prison. He was imprisoned for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial explosions. Sanjay was arrested and charged under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act. He was released from prison after serving his sentence on February 25, 2016.

Aryan Khan has been arrested by the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau). He was charged under laws relating to “the possession, consumption and sale of illegal substances”. He had to spend almost three weeks in prison. These charges were later dropped, citing a lack of evidence. This case made a lot of headlines with several twists and turns. A key witness also alleged that he was coerced into signing blank papers at the NCB office.
Shiny Ahuja
Shiney Ahuja has been accused of raping his maid. Following these allegations, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison. Her maid later backed down from her statement, but the judge relied on the FIR in the case.
