Zaira Wasim shared her first photo on social media after leaving Bollywood in 2019. The actress said acting interfered with her religion. The former actress took to Instagram to post a photo of herself on a bridge. However, her face is not visible in the photo, as her back is facing the camera.


Previously, Zaira Wasim asked her fan pages to remove her photos from social media. Today, October 5, she posted a photo of herself basking in the sun. Sharing her photo on Instagram, she wrote, “Hot October sun (sic).”

In June 2019, Zaira Wasim took to Facebook to write a detailed note and announce that she is quitting acting for religious reasons. She wrote that she realized that “although I can fit in perfectly here, I don’t belong here”.

“Five years ago, I made a decision that changed my life forever. When I stepped foot in Bollywood, it opened doors for me to huge popularity. I started to become the leading contender for public attention, I have been projected as the gospel of the idea of ​​success and have often been identified as a role model for young people. However, this is never something I have set out to do or become, especially in regards to my ideas of success and failure, which I had just begun to explore and understand,” Wasim said in the lengthy post.

Kashmiri native Zaira Wasim made her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan‘s Dangal in 2016. She played the role of young Babita Phogat, a female wrestler. She received praise for her portrayal of the young wrestler from film critics and audiences. In 2017, she appeared in Aamir Khan’s house production, Secret Superstar. Zaira was last seen in Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar-star The Sky Is Pink. She played the lead role of Aisha Chaudhary in Shonali Bose’s film.
